A two-hour deep dive into each of the following Sarasota Jewish Theatre productions on select Friday mornings from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at The Sarasota Players, Crossings at Siesta Key mall, 3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota (next to Connors Steak and Seafood).

The Play and the Playwright: Discuss the play and the playwright with Artistic Director Carole Kleinberg. Participants will be sent a comprehensive study guide prior to the program.

The World of the Play: Participants meet with the technical team and learn about the design and construction of the set, lighting, sound, props and costumes, and the complex coordination required to construct a believable and functional the universe for the play and the players.

The Artistic Team: The director* and actors will discuss the challenges and techniques involved in bringing the characters to life on the stage. *It is possible that an out-of-town director might be unavailable, in which case Carole Kleinberg will take his/her place.

Participants will be in conversation with the presenters and may ask any questions they wish.
